We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team at Help at Hand Support Services in Keilor East. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily living support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, social events, and other activities.
- Develop and implement individualised support plans to promote independence and community participation.
- Work collaboratively with other support workers, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless support.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
- Minimum Cert III in Disability or equivalent experience.
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
- First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Full and clean Australian driver's license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
As a Disability Support Worker with Help at Hand Support Services, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $31.46 - $41.50, as well as opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
