Disability Support Worker Opportunity

Help at Hand Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Fitzroy. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live independently and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support to individuals with disabilities, assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, ensuring the unique needs and goals of each individual are met.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Assist with household tasks, meal preparation, and other daily activities.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
  • Cert III in Disability or equivalent experience.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • First Aid/CPR certificates.
  • Full and clean Australian driver's license.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathetic and proactive approach to supporting individuals with disabilities.
