About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team at Help at Hand Support Services in Keilor East. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing daily living support, including personal care and domestic assistance
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers
  • Supporting individuals with complex needs, including those with physical and intellectual disabilities
  • Developing and implementing individualised support plans
  • Working collaboratively with other support workers and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care

Requirements:

  • Minimum Cert III in Disability or equivalent experience
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
  • First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Full and clean Australian driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
