This full-time position will suit an individual with a background in Banquets Operations, Sales or Hospitality who is passionate about planning and organizing events and delivering exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will have experience in event management, excellent communication skills, high standards of organization and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a range of events from initial inquiry through to the post-event
- Provide quotations for all conferences/ events
- Conduct site inspections with potential clientele
- Negotiate and convert inquiries into sales
- Communicate event requirements to all departments
- Build and nurture client relationships
- Process deposits and prepayments in a timely manner
- Assist with the development of concepts and operation of public social events
- Experience in a similar position or fresh graduate with C&E Management study
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- High standards of personal presentation and grooming
- Sound knowledge of the Hospitality Industry
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Proficiency in MS Office programs
