- Assist in conducting experiments and managing materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Provide guidance and training on equipment use and compliance with standard protocols.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest methodologies, technologies, and data management techniques.
- Identify and resolve research-related issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct animal work, including diabetic mouse models and other disease models.
- Perform molecular biology and protein-related tasks such as cell culture, RT-PCR, qPCR, Western Blotting, ELISA, protein purification, and immunohistochemistry.
- Support flow cytometry (FACS) and other advanced technical processes.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, protein work, histology, and animal models.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
