Job Description

This dynamic role involves providing high-quality technical support to researchers, contributing to novel glucose-responsive insulin platforms, imaging technologies, and advanced drug delivery systems.

  • Assist in conducting experiments and managing materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Provide guidance and training on equipment use and compliance with standard protocols.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest methodologies, technologies, and data management techniques.
  • Identify and resolve research-related issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct animal work, including diabetic mouse models and other disease models.
  • Perform molecular biology and protein-related tasks such as cell culture, RT-PCR, qPCR, Western Blotting, ELISA, protein purification, and immunohistochemistry.
  • Support flow cytometry (FACS) and other advanced technical processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, protein work, histology, and animal models.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
