Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research activities under the direction of the leadership team. This includes contributing to project design, implementation, and manuscript preparation. The role also involves data management, collaboration with departmental statisticians, and presenting research findings at seminars and conferences.

About the Role

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a range of research projects, including antibiotic allergy, immunocompromised host infectious diseases, and antimicrobial stewardship. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of innovative research ideas, review relevant literature, and assist in the writing and editing of applications and manuscripts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research activities, including project design and implementation, manuscript preparation, and data management
  • Collaborate with departmental statisticians to analyze data and prepare reports
  • Present research findings at seminars and conferences
  • Contribute to the development of innovative research ideas and assist in the writing and editing of applications and manuscripts
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Successful completion of RACP Basic Physician Examination
  • Ability to practice evidence-based medicine and act autonomously commensurate with confidence and experience
  • Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of Immunology/Allergy
