About the Role

As a Care Worker in our Respite Cottage, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our guests. Our Respite Cottages offer a relaxing environment for older people to take a break from their homes, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver care and support to guests in our Respite Cottage, including personal care, medication supervision, and specialized care according to each client's care plan.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for guests, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • No formal qualification is necessary, however, a Certificate III in Individual Support is an advantage.
  • First Aid certification desirable.
  • Empathy and compassion are essential for this role.
  • Good administrative and computer skills, including the use of a smartphone.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
