Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Professional to join our team at HammondCare's Bugari Respite Cottage in Terrey Hills. As a Respite Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our guests, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred care to guests in our Bugari Respite Cottage, including personal care, medication supervision, and social support.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to guests, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful environment, adhering to HammondCare's values and policies.
Requirements
  • No formal qualification is necessary, but a Certificate III in Individual Support is highly regarded.
  • First Aid certification is desirable, but not essential.
  • Empathy, compassion, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
