About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our shared living team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live a life of their choosing. You will work in a team environment and independently to provide a range of services, including assisting clients to live independently, participate in their local community, and engage in meaningful opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients to live as independently as possible by assisting with activities of daily living, including menu planning, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Provide personal care and support, including assistance with medication.
  • Support clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of person-centred programs.
  • Work to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies.
  • Communicate with families about clients' progress.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of people with disability. You will be a positive and organised person who is able to engage, communicate, and build partnerships with people. Experience in the disability sector is essential, and you will be happy to support others with personal and hygiene care. You must have a driver's license and vehicle.
