About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team at HammondCare's Bugari Respite Cottage in Terrey Hills. As a Care Worker, you will provide individualised support to our guests, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and comfort during their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver care to guests in our Bugari Respite Cottage, providing personal care, medication supervision, and specialised care according to each client's care plan.
  • Support guests with daily tasks, social activities, and provide a relaxing environment for older people to take a break from their home environment.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure guests receive a wide range of services, including clinical care, support with daily tasks, and social activities.

Requirements
  • No formal qualification is necessary, however, Certificate III Individual Support is an advantage.
  • First Aid certificate desirable.
  • Empathy and compassion are a must.
  • We provide job training as long as you have the willingness and desire to learn.
  • Good administrative and computer skills, including the use of a smartphone.
  • A strong team player, who can communicate professionally changes in care, complete all documentation, while maintaining confidentiality.

HammondCare specialises in Aged and Dementia Care, Palliative Care, Rehabilitation, Mental Health services for older people, and other related Health and Aged Care services.

We seek to embed evidence-based best practices in our services and provide these services through Home Care, Sub-Acute Hospitals, and Residential Aged Care.
