Job Summary:

Our organization seeks a Rostering Specialist to manage staff and client rosters in a professional and accurate manner.

About the Role:

  • Provide primary support to staff and interact with clients or their representatives in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Ensure timely and efficient allocation of shifts to meet operational demands.
  • Collaborate with the Rostering Manager and Care Consultants to match clients with suitable support workers.
  • Maintain, update, and administer staff/client rosters.
  • Evaluate and implement cost-effective rostering strategies to optimize resource utilization.
  • Monitor staff availability and adapt to last-minute changes to maintain service continuity.
  • Offer administrative support and provide relevant workforce management data.
  • Maintain accurate records of clients and support workers.
  • Develop effective communication channels with support workers.
  • Contribute to organizational risk management initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess a qualification in a health or community-related field.
  • Previous experience in rostering or scheduling is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and effective organizational skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and exhibit problem-solving abilities.
