Job Title: Healthcare Roster Specialist">

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Roster Specialist to join our team. This role involves coordinating and managing the daily schedules of care workers, ensuring they meet the needs of participants in a 24-hour disability program.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in community services, preferably in a rostering or scheduling role. They must be able to work well in a team environment, independently and proactively, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecast, plan, and manage leave and absences to ensure coverage of all shifts to meet participant needs and service delivery targets
  • Create effective scheduling and rosters to align care workers with participant requirements and SCHADS/Fair Work entitlements
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and manage relationships with stakeholders - internal and external
  • Manage payroll, timesheets, leave requests, and participant-specific requirements such as care team meetings
  • Maintain and update company databases, compliance documents, and other related records

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in community services, preferably in a rostering or scheduling role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, independently and proactively
  • High-level organisational skillset, with the ability to set priorities and meet multiple deadlines
  • Commitment to the rights of people with disabilities to live dignified lives
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
  • Current WWCC (Employee) clearance
