Regional Operations Leader

The Regional Operations Leader oversees supply chain operations across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
This role reports to the Head of Operations based at our Victorian Terminal in Newport. The successful candidate will lead a diverse operational workforce ensuring safe, compliant and efficient liquid fuel storage and distribution operations.
This includes overseeing joint-venture operations in Hobart and South Australia.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage operational hazards and risk, and maintain HSSE management systems.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with regulators, government authorities, emergency services and local communities.
- Provide leadership for improvement initiatives targeting operational excellence, asset utilisation and organisational structure.
- Support site asset management strategies, championing infrastructure improvements.
- Identify, develop and nurture talent within the team, promoting diversity and long-term capability.
- A proven leader with experience in Supply Chain / operational environments.
- Ideal experience with tank storage and pipeline processes.
- Ideal experience working with Regulatory Authorities.
- Ideal experience within Major Hazard Facilities.
- Strong project management skills to drive improvement initiatives.
- Able to travel for site visits.
