Strategic Marketing Director for Commercial Success

As a highly skilled marketing professional, you will drive commercial success by leading marketing strategies and initiatives that deliver business growth across diverse B2B landscapes. This pivotal role reports directly to the Group GM, Marketing, with one direct report.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing plans for major B2B customers and industry partners, leveraging insights to inform strategic actions
  • Create customer segment value propositions to win across the sales funnel, driving engagement and conversion
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Category, and Marketing teams to deliver customer-centric go-to-market strategies
  • Oversight of activation calendars, including promotions, digital campaigns, trade events, and more
  • Guide compelling sales tools and communications through Dynamics 365 and other platforms
  • Champion category management, including oversight of plumber-focused bundles and spares
  • Represent key segments in pricing, NPD, and product lifecycle initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Track and report outcomes, including sales performance, customer engagement, campaign ROI, and tender success
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing or category leadership
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of customer journeys in trade or commercial sectors
  • Mastery of Microsoft 365 and ability to craft compelling campaign content
