About this role: Global Sales Strategy & Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's sales force, which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and is working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world.

This role is part of the Global marketing team in GSSO that focuses on driving topline revenue and increasing seller productivity. Our Global Marketing team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging, and converting prospects through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences across the buyer journey.

What You Will Do
  • Lead as Director of B2B Marketing for the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) region with an executive presence.
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for buyers in IT organizations, including multi-channel campaigns and buyer journeys to drive lead generation, appointments, sales enablement, and event support.
  • Collaborate in a matrixed environment with Sales, Product, Research, and global marketing partners to align marketing activities and priorities.
  • Lead global marketing plans for assigned programs and regional programming.
  • Execute leveraging various centers of excellence.
  • Present plans, forecasts, and performance reviews clearly to leadership, describing Marketing initiatives and insights to evaluate and optimize performance.
  • Develop KPIs, goals, and targets for functions supporting the solution business.
  • Develop test plans to optimize and innovate marketing programs.
  • Coordinate activities with Conferences Marketing, Experiential Marketing, and Global Marketing campaigns.
  • Prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment while fostering a positive team culture across APJ.
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
  • 10+ years' direct experience in related B2B marketing roles.
  • 5+ years managing a team.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from senior management, managers, clients, and customers.
  • Ability to implement and manage marketing plans with a proven track record of success in the APJ region.
  • Ability to influence and partner with internal stakeholders on strategic product objectives; energy and a positive attitude to drive actions to outcomes.
  • Proven success managing projects with shared service organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot branding opportunities and drive execution.
