We are seeking an experienced and skilled trade qualified professional to undertake quality workmanship ensuring vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition.
Primary Responsibilities:- Mixing and matching vehicle colours after preparation and painting is a key part of this role.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive colour library is essential.
- Preparing, priming, and painting vehicles according to job sheet requirements following paint supplier's process is critical.
- Buffing and denibbing vehicles to the highest standards is also required.
- Ensuring all vehicles are handled with care and attention at all times.
- Reporting any extra paint work required not initially quoted for.
- Notifying production managers of any old damage or poor previous repairs.
- Cleaning work bays and workshop areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Providing coaching and guidance to apprentices when required.
- Trade qualified Spray Painter qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a trade qualified Spray Painter.
- A strong commitment to working safely and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Able to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
- Ownership of necessary tools and equipment.
