Job Description:

The position available is for a skilled Spray Painter to work on vehicles, ensuring they are returned to their pre-accident condition. This role involves working in a team environment and requires strong communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have trade qualifications, a minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Spray Painter, and a commitment to working safely. They will also be able to work effectively with the team, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mix and match vehicle colours after preparation and scheduling for painting.
  • Build and maintain a colour library.
  • Prep, prime and paint vehicles according to job sheet requirements following paint supplier process.
  • Buff and denib vehicles.
  • Handle all vehicles with due care and attention.
  • Note extra paint work required not quoted for.
  • Report old damage or poor previous repairs to production manager.
  • Clean work bay and workshop areas.
  • Coach apprentices when required.
About You:
  • Trade qualified Spray Painter.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working as a trade qualified Spray Painter.
  • Strong commitment to work in a safe manner.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  • Own tools to fulfil the role.
