Spray Painter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Spray Painter to join our crew in Perth.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition through high-quality paintwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mix and match vehicle colours after preparation and painting
  • Bulk and maintain a colour library
  • Prepare, prime, and paint vehicles as per job sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Buff and denib vehicles
  • Handle all vehicles with due care and attention
  • Note any extra paint work required that is not quoted for
  • Report any old damage or poor previous repairs to production manager
  • Clean work bays and workshop areas
  • Coach apprentices when required
About You:

We are looking for a trade qualified Spray Painter with a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role.

You should have a strong commitment to working safely, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.

A high level of attention to detail, meeting strict deadlines, reliability, punctuality, and hardworking attitude are essential.

The successful candidate will also need to bring own tools to fulfil the role.

Jr-Mid experienced tradesperson: $60-$80k Mid-Senior tradesperson: $80k-$100k Annual salary and the opportunity to earn a production bonus
