Job Title:

Senior IT Consultant

About the Job:
  • This is a senior-level position within our team, focusing on providing expert technical advice and guidance to project managers and customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Work as a trusted advisor to provide high-quality solutions for customers' needs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on-site, addressing technical issues and customer needs.
  • Learn new technologies and apply them to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage technical problem resolution, system architecture definition, software specification, testing, and deployment of open-source solutions.
  • Participate in internal initiatives, create consulting whitepapers, and update the knowledge base.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about potential project or company performance issues.
  • Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions while handling sensitive conversations professionally.
  • Initiate new projects, guide the implementation team, and monitor project progress.
Requirements:
  • Must have 3+ years of experience working with enterprise customers on various development and deployment projects.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Red Hat Automation products including Ansible & AAP is required.
  • Knowledge of other infrastructure products such as Red Hat Satellite, authentication services like IdM/IPA, virtualization technologies, and Linux Security Practices is desired.
  • Familiarity with Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification or willingness to pursue it within 90 days is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • AGSVA Security Clearance at NV1 or above is highly desirable.
