About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration Support Specialist to join our team at Baptist Churches. As a key member of our office team, you will provide administrative support to our leadership team, staff, and various ministries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the leadership team, staff, and various ministries, including managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and preparing documents.
  • Financial Management: Manage the church's accounts and staff payroll, including financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Office Management: Manage the church office functions, including services and contracts that provide essential services to the church.
  • Communication: Prepare documents, letters, presentations, and correspondence for use by leaders and committees.
  • Event Coordination: Assist with the coordination, management, and delegation of responsibilities for the execution of church events.
Requirements
  • Strong Faith: Strong, active faith in a local church community.
  • Administrative Experience: Demonstrable, advanced secretarial, administrative, and bookkeeping skills.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrable, advanced written and verbal communication and good interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products and accounting software, such as Xero.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrable ability to work as a team member and actively promote office harmony.
