Support Workers Sought for Community Care Roles in Gold Coast Regions

Labour Solutions Australia is seeking Support Workers to join our team in the Gold Coast regions. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with their daily needs and supporting them to lead fulfilling lives.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in disability care or hold a Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability/Aged Care. You will also need to be eligible to work in Australia and hold a C class Queensland driver's license. Additionally, you must have access to a registered, insured, roadworthy vehicle and possess relevant certifications such as a Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, National Police check, First Aid/CPR Certificate, Covid 19 Vaccination, and NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate.

In this role, you will assist participants with personal activities including hygiene, medication, manual handling, domestic tasks, and meals. You will also support clients with challenging behaviours using Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP) and provide transportation to community outings via your personal vehicle. Your responsibilities will include supporting participants in group and one-on-one settings, promoting independence, and ensuring participant safety.

We offer competitive hourly rates, flexible shifts, and casual positions with consistent hours and routine rosters. Kilometres travelled for community access shifts will be reimbursed. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in people's lives while enjoying a stable income.
