About the Role

We are seeking a Guest Services Officer to join our Front Office team. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of customer service by efficiently processing guest arrivals and departures.

Responsibilities
  • To ensure smooth operation of the Front Office on a day-to-day basis, including cleanliness and handling arrival and departure records.
  • To perform cashiering duties as required, including foreign currency exchange and payments.
  • To show hotel rooms and suites to prospective clients and guests.
  • To handle guest enquiries and requests and have a thorough knowledge of Melbourne and its surrounding areas.
  • To assist in maintaining a high level of security for guests, staff, and hotel property.
Qualifications
  • Previous work experience in a similar fast-paced hotel operations or reservations environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and time management skills with a strong ability to multi-task.
  • Superior customer service skills along with excellent service resolution skills.
  • The capability of working both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of 5-star grooming standards.
