Mid-Market Territory Development Specialist

As a seasoned sales professional, you will play a pivotal role in reinforcing Sumo Logic's leadership in the mid-market space.
The ideal candidate should possess skills associated with working in a high-performance sales culture, particularly demonstrating pipeline management, lead generation, contact network development, and delivering results against a quota.
The Account Executive team is responsible for providing an exceptional sales experience to Sumo Logic's mid-market segment customers. This Sales team employs a consultative approach, has a proven track record of growing sales, consistently meets and exceeds quotas, and maintains customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Target, manage, and sell to a defined geographic territory, leveraging technical expertise to drive revenue growth.
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, to fill Sumo Logic's pipeline with qualified opportunities.
- Create and deliver accurate sales forecasts, utilizing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
- Perform product demos using web tools to engage prospects and customers, highlighting the value proposition of Sumo Logic's solutions.
- Partner with internal resources to provide a seamless experience for prospective customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in quota-carrying experience selling B2B applications, on-demand/SaaS, IT Infrastructure Management, or Cloud Security offerings. A history of quota over-achievement, selling to technical audiences like IT operations, Security, and DevOps teams, is also essential.
In addition, strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a collaborative mindset, are must-haves for this role. A contact network within the Big Data ecosystem is highly desirable, and proficiency in Salesforce.com is required.
