About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operational Quarry Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Bohle Quarry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that production volumes meet company targets while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Site Operations: Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental legislation, and implementing business SHE policies and procedures.
  • Staff Management: Lead and manage staff and contractors, providing guidance and support to ensure their effective performance.
  • Maintenance and Improvements: Plan and implement maintenance activities to optimize plant performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Audit Support: Assist Quarry Management with internal and external audits, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrate a strong track record of success in hard rock quarry operations, mining, or fixed and mobile plant operations.
  • Safety Focus: Show a genuine passion for safety, having previously worked in a zero-harm environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively manage stakeholders and customers.
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Currently hold or be willing to obtain G1, 8, 9 (S1, 2, 3) certifications.
