Key Responsibilities:

  • Caregivers must keep accurate records of client care plans and progress.
  • Effective communication is key when working with clients, families, and care team members.
  • Health and safety regulations must be upheld to ensure the well-being of our clients.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
  • A Certificate 2 or 4 in individual support or willingness to pursue completion is highly regarded.
  • Lived experience or paid work with people with disabilities is essential.
  • Candidates must be available to work day shifts, night shifts, sleepovers, and weekends.
  • A strong understanding of NDIS and its guidelines is necessary.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations is crucial.
  • Caregivers must be able to adapt to diverse client needs based on abilities, cultural backgrounds, and language requirements.
  • Familiarity with basic care and first aid skills is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is an advantage.
