Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in North Mackay.

The successful candidate will provide support, assisting individuals with disabilities to live independently within Supported Independent Living homes. This role requires a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities, flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, overnights, and weekends.

To be successful, you will require:

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers (penalty rates apply).
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), which is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • The capacity to meet physical requirements, as some manual handling tasks may be involved.

You will also be required to hold or obtain the following checks and certificates:

  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card).
  • First Aid and CPR.
  • National Criminal History Check.
  • An Australian open Driver's License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.
