Make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes by providing tailored support as a Support Worker. Every day, you'll have the opportunity to empower individuals with disabilities and young people to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.

About The Role
  • Deliver individualised support to people with disabilities and young people, focusing on personal care, mobility, and skill development.
  • Build strong connections and provide mentorship and emotional guidance, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement comprehensive support plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.

You'll work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays. This will require flexibility and adaptability to ensure the delivery of high-quality support at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily living assistance, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Support community participation and recreational activities, fostering social connections and a sense of belonging.
  • Advocate for customer rights and promote independence, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their lives.
  • Create safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being.
