Job Title: Operational Excellence Lead

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Lead to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving operational excellence across our organisation.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to shape the continuous improvement culture within our organisation while ensuring the integration of quality and safety principles are at the forefront of all initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and oversee continuous improvement projects and initiatives across various operational areas, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, efficiency gains, and cost reductions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of CI specialists and analysts, promoting a culture of learning, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Use Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies to map processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements that enhance productivity and reduce operational waste.
  • Work closely with department heads, project managers, and senior leadership to identify improvement opportunities and ensure successful implementation of CI strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, quality management, or safety management fields, preferably within the aviation, defence, or similar highly regulated industries.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, Management, or a related field. Additional certifications in Lean Six Sigma, TQM, or related disciplines are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams to deliver CI and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Strong background in process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to senior management and train personnel across various departments.
