The IT Operations Team Leader role is a leadership position providing guidance and support to a team of IT Operations Analysts.
This challenging role entails:
- Guiding day-to-day technical and work-related matters
- Leading and managing the team, setting expectations around delivery and performance
- Coaching, developing, and upskilling the team members
- Driving business improvement initiatives within IT Ops
- Managing critical incidents end-to-end
- Implementing processes utilising ITIL foundations & DevOps
- Facilitating project transitions to operations
- Collaborating with various teams including IT Service Desk, ITSM, Security, Networking, Monitoring, and Server groups
Requirements
- Proven capability leading an IT Operations team
- Strong technical expertise in escalated matters, incidents, outages, preventative maintenance, and enhancement activities
- Ability to navigate, influence, and drive IT Operations initiatives
