We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our team at Icon Cancer Centre Richmond. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our centre.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all patients and their families.
- Manage incoming calls, answer patient inquiries, and schedule appointments with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with medical records management.
- Utilize your knowledge of Medicare, DVA claims, and medical terminology to assist patients and ensure seamless communication with the clinical team.
- Collaborate with the administration team to ensure efficient and effective administrative processes.
- Experience in a healthcare environment, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
