Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute. As the frontline of all interactions, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and supporting our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage front desk reception duties in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate appointments for all medical services, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Process incoming faxes and emails, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Provide comprehensive capture of billable services, timely invoicing, and identification of outstanding invoices using electronic medical records.
- Ensure waiting rooms are always clean and tidy, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
- Experience working in a busy specialist clinic, including reception duties.
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent time management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a commitment to patient satisfaction.
- Intermediate understanding and experience using Windows-based software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy requirements.
