Deliver exceptional customer experiences as a Porter in our dynamic team at Accor's Qantas International Lounges.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing top-notch service to valued passengers and ensuring a smooth operation of the lounge. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing access control, maintaining cleanliness, and handling luggage with care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers at kerbside and assist with their luggage to the check-in suite
  • Regularly inspect the foyer, clean the curbside (if required), and ensure the Premium Check-in Suite is well-maintained
  • Meet and greet all guests as they arrive and depart the First Class Lounges
  • Verify that guests are entering the correct lounges with accurate boarding passes
  • Lift and handle passenger luggage with ease
  • Ensure guests adhere to dress code standards within the lounges
  • Hand over VIPs to other departments, providing any necessary information or assistance for a seamless experience
  • Explain airport and lounge facilities to guests, answer questions, and provide flight information
  • Occasionally assist with Qantas Hosts/F&B Departments
  • Maintain grooming, performance, and conduct standards at all times
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management/Qantas
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as needed
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Maintain impeccable grooming and professional appearance
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
  • Remain calm and composed in challenging situations
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy objects
  • Able to obtain Federal Police clearance for restricted airport areas
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
