Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments? We're seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at Sydney International Airport.

About the Role:

  • As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for passengers at the carousel, ensuring a smooth and efficient baggage handling experience.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring carousels for issues, liaising with the below-wing team for missing baggage, and reporting any concerns to the Baggage Services Supervisors.
  • Additionally, you will create and trace files for missed or damaged bags, and forward/deliver baggage to passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the below-wing team to resolve baggage issues and ensure timely delivery of baggage to passengers.
  • Monitor carousels for issues, such as belt stoppages, and report any concerns to the Baggage Services Supervisors.
  • Record and report rush bags received, and create and trace files for missed or damaged bags.

Requirements:

  • Superior customer service, team work, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adhere to safety and security processes applicable to the aviation industry.
  • Punctuality and reliability in attendance at work.
