Job Summary

The Facilities Officer will play a key role in supporting the effective operation, safety, and presentation of our campuses. This is a varied role combining maintenance support, contractor coordination, compliance checks, and day-to-day campus operations.

As a Facilities Officer, you will work as part of a collaborative team delivering services across our campuses to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake routine maintenance and minor works (e.g. repairs, painting, furniture moves) to keep facilities safe and presentable.
  • Respond to facilities requests and provide excellent customer service to staff and students.
  • Coordinate and monitor contractors (cleaning, grounds, minor works) to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Support safety and compliance activities, including visual inspections, Essential Safety Measures tasks, and incident response.
  • Assist with fleet oversight, including vehicle checks, cleaning, and servicing coordination.
  • Open and prepare campus facilities daily, check building systems (security, HVAC), and support classroom/event setups.
  • Maintain accurate records for keys, security access, compliance tasks, and contractor activities.
  • Collaborate with facilities colleagues across other campuses to provide seamless service coverage.
