Disability Support Professional

As part of our shared living team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live independently. You will work collaboratively with families, friends, and dedicated staff to create a supportive environment that promotes active participation in local communities and meaningful opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including menu planning, cooking, and cleaning.
- Support clients with personal care needs and assist with medication administration.
- Deliver person-centred programs to promote an active lifestyle and community participation.
- Work towards behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies.
- Communicate effectively with families about clients' progress.
- A minimum of 4 early shifts per week, including morning starts, days, afternoons, weekends, and wake-over shifts.
- A current NSW driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and cleared probity checks (National Criminal History Record Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC).
- A competitive estimated salary of $65,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience.
