Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Disability Support Professional to join our shared living team in Terrey Hills. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live independently and engage actively in their local community.
About the RoleThis permanent part-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. You will provide a range of services assisting clients to live independently, participate in community activities, and achieve their goals.
- Supporting clients with activities of daily living, including menu planning, cooking, and cleaning
- Assisting with personal care needs and medication support
- Delivering person-centred programs to promote active lifestyles and community participation
- Working with behaviour support plans to utilise positive strategies
You will work collaboratively with families and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will possess a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of people with disability. You will be a positive and energetic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in the disability sector is essential, and you must have a driver's license and vehicle.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary package of up to $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide:
