We are seeking an experienced Administrative Project Coordinator to manage all administrative aspects of the Cadia Tailings project on a fixed-term basis. This position involves facilitating the induction of contractors and providing comprehensive administrative assistance to the project team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and adept problem-solving capabilities. The role offers flexibility, allowing for placement in either our Melbourne Office or Orange, NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project planning and delivery by facilitating communication between contractors and stakeholders.
  • Attend project meetings and arrange external meetings with stakeholders.
  • Assist the project team with administrative tasks.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding processes for contractors and project team members.
  • Coordinate mobilization of staff, consultants, and visitors including IT requirements and training.
  • Administer SharePoint and develop templates for project use.

Project Management Support:

  • Record and distribute accurate meeting minutes.
  • Assist in developing project presentations and documentation.
  • Format, manage, and register documents and initiate approval workflows.
  • Assist with month-end reporting.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum

Job Requirements:

  • Prior administrative experience, preferably within the mining industry.
  • In-depth administrative knowledge with the ability to drill down on large volumes of data.
  • Ability to quickly format and style documentation into the Newmont standard.
  • Experience within SAP, CHESS, SharePoint, and Aconex.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficiency in multitasking.
  • Capability to communicate effectively with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders.
