Job Title: Payroll Officer

This is a fixed-term opportunity to work as part of a collaborative and supportive payroll team. You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant industry awards and legislation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Process payroll for 2,000+ employees on a weekly and fortnightly basis using Chris21 software.
    • Prepare monthly payroll reports and ensure accurate payment of all state and federal tax obligations.
    • Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on any issues.
    • Manage employee leave entitlements, superannuation, and other benefits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Knowledge of Chris21 software and/or Dayforce system.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret awards and legislation.
