Job Description

This is a fixed-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative payroll team. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for 2,000+ employees on a weekly and fortnightly basis.

About the Role
  • Processing payroll using Chris21 software.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry awards and relevant legislation.
  • Preparing monthly payroll reports and end-of-year processing.
  • Paying State and Federal tax obligations.
  • Managing superannuation, leave entitlements, and payments.
  • Liaising with the ATO on any issues.
  • Responding to payroll queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Key Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Knowledge of Chris21 or Dayforce is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret awards and legislation.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
What We Offer

An experienced Payroll Manager will support the successful candidate. Opportunities exist to assist with payroll projects outside of BAU. The role is based in Sydney Olympic Park, close to public transport, with flexible working arrangements available.

The salary package includes base pay between $85,000 - $95,000 plus superannuation depending on experience.
