Temporary HR and Payroll Specialist

A key role for an experienced HR and Payroll Specialist is available in Western Sydney.

The Role Overview

This temporary position involves managing payroll processing using the Dayforce system, maintaining accurate employee records and providing support with HR administration, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies. Additionally, you will assist with recruitment, onboarding, and general HR tasks as required, as well as provide timely and accurate payroll and HR reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll processing using the Dayforce system to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HR administration tasks such as new hire processes, leave management and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies through ongoing monitoring and adherence
  • Support recruitment efforts by assisting with job postings, candidate screening and interview coordination
  • Provide timely and accurate payroll and HR reporting to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience using Dayforce payroll system (mandatory)
  • Proven payroll processing experience within a corporate or medium-sized organisation
  • Solid background in HR administration and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
