Job Description:

This 8-month fixed-term contract offers a unique opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive payroll team. As a Payroll Officer, you will be part of a dynamic team that processes end-to-end payroll for over 2,000 employees on a weekly and fortnightly basis using Chris21.

You will ensure compliance with all relevant industry awards and stay up-to-date with changes to legislation, providing a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential in this role.

  • End-to-end payroll processing for 2,000+ employees.
  • Compliance with industry awards and legislation.
  • Preparation of monthly payroll reports and end-of-year processing.
  • Management of superannuation, leave entitlements, and payments.
  • Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on any issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 3+ years of previous experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Knowledge and experience using Chris21 and/or Dayforce are highly regarded but not essential.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Able to interpret awards and legislation.
