Data Asset Specialist

The Asset Management role plays a crucial part in the management and governance of asset data to support the overall asset management framework and strategic plans across contracts.
This position works closely with cross-functional teams throughout the organization, including support services, engineering, Network Operations Control Centre, 3rd party vendors, and management, to ensure that assets are managed accurately and data is up-to-date. The asset management professional will produce ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual asset reports, as well as lead account-mandated audits and contractual reporting obligations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in asset management, accurate data entry, extraction, and cleansing skills, and advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivots, and Power Query). Experience with Xtraction queries and dashboards is also highly desirable.
- Data management and governance to ensure data accuracy and detail.
- Provision and maintenance of accurate data within the asset database and ITSM systems.
- Building and maintaining reports and procedures to detect and resolve inconsistencies in the asset database.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure asset management procedures are followed and refined.
- Conducting asset audits through site inspections.
