Asset Management Specialist

This role supports the management and governance of asset data, contributing to the overall asset management framework and strategic plans across contracts.

The Asset Management Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that assets are managed accurately and data is reliable. They produce regular asset reports, lead audits and contractual reporting obligations, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine asset management procedures.

This is a 6-month contract position with a view to extend, based in the Melbourne office with some travel required to sites around Metropolitan Melbourne. Travel expenses will be reimbursed where applicable. Flexibility to work from home is available.

You will be responsible for:

Managing and maintaining accurate data within the asset database and ITSM systems. Building and maintaining reports to detect and resolve inconsistencies in the asset database. Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure asset management procedures are followed and refined. Conducting asset audits through site inspections. Ensuring asset management deliverables are fully aligned within the scope of contracts.

Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in asset data management and extraction.

  • Experience in asset management, accurate data entry, data extraction, and data cleansing skills.

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivots, and Power Query).

  • Xtraction queries and dashboards.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in BMC Remedy.

  • Specific experience in radio, console, and network infrastructure asset management.
