Lease Administration is a dynamic and fast-paced profession that involves managing lease portfolios, handling landlord communications, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance. A highly organized Lease Administrator will be responsible for daily tasks such as mail distribution, base rental reviews, percentage rentals payments, and scrutinizing charges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily management of incoming property related documents
  • Monitoring and calculation of base rental reviews according to lease terms
  • Calculation of percentage rentals payments and accompanying audits
  • Verification of payments for rates, taxes, insurance, and extended trading hours charges
  • Distribution of Insurance Certificates
  • Administrative tasks related to Lease Management
  • Collaboration with landlords and internal departments to resolve lease related issues
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in lease administration preferably in retail or commercial real estate environment
  • Prior experience in lease administration within commercial and shopping centre/retail environments
  • Proficiency in lease management software is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and literacy skills with ability to liaise, influence, and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong understanding of lease terms, data integrity, validation, and lease related financials
  • Attention to detail and ability to interpret lease documentation and communicate professionally with landlords and stakeholders
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple leases and deadlines
  • High level of analytical thinking and willingness to challenge status quo
  • Ability to anticipate potential issues and proactively manage them
  • Collaborative and autonomous work style
