Production Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring production goals are met with efficiency, quality, and safety.

The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of beverage manufacturing, strong organisational skills, and a people-first leadership style that inspires high performance and collaboration.

  • Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet volume and quality targets.
  • Lead and develop your team by coaching, training, and supporting multiskilling initiatives. Manage attendance and assist with recruitment.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives across production lines.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials, packaging, and production supplies in coordination with procurement.
  • Maintain production equipment and coordinate with maintenance for preventive and corrective actions.
  • Enforce safety protocols and cultivate a culture of safety and accountability on the production floor.
  • Prepare regular reports on production output, efficiency, and downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in beverage or food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and quality systems in beverage manufacturing.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite; Unleashed software experience is a plus but not essential.
