System Integration Specialist

The role of a System Integration Specialist is to support the integration of various systems within an ICT environment at the direction of project or engineering management staff.

This includes but is not limited to Git/Version Control, Kubernetes, Python, and CI/CD systems.

The Specialist will work directly with technical and business stakeholders to advance various capabilities.

They will design solutions in accordance with requirements and contribute to requirements development, system definition, design, development, integration, verification, and validation.

The specified person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers, product owners, business analysts, and senior customers on the design of integrated ICT solutions and cloud-enabled technology that support organisational outcomes within the constraints of a technology roadmap.
  • Provide technical expertise to enable the configuration of system components and equipment for systems testing.
  • Develop new and complex integration builds, ensuring that integration test environments are correctly configured.
  • Escalate issues and seek advice from the customer, Project Manager/Engineering Manager in a timely manner.
  • Identify and document system integration components for recording in the configuration management system.
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders in documentation development.
  • Resolve issues and problems that arise during capability development projects.

Skills and Experience Needed

  • Australian Citizenship and a TSPV security clearance is essential.
  • Knowledge of PAAS and IAAS solutions desirable.
