Security Architects –TSPV preferred | NV2 considered.

Work with Australia's most critical ICT systems, providing expert security architecture advice that shapes the protection of national digital infrastructure. As an EL1 equivalent Security Architect, you'll play a key role in supporting high-priority government ICT projects, contributing both tactical and strategic cybersecurity solutions. This opportunity will suit professionals with deep security architecture experience, keen to influence technical standards across a broad range of projects and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop current and future-state security architectures aligned with agency strategies and ICT systems.
  • Lead and contribute to threat modelling and risk assessments for major ICT projects.
  • Provide tailored, risk-based security advice and validate design compliance against architecture standards.
  • Develop reusable security patterns and guidance to uplift cybersecurity across government.
Key Selection Criteria:
  • Proven ability to provide expert-level security advice across complex, enterprise-scale systems.
  • Demonstrated experience developing solution architectures aligned with enterprise and cloud/on-prem standards.
  • Strong understanding of security risk assessment, threat intelligence, and information security standards.
  • Relevant qualifications in computer science or related field and hands-on delivery of secure ICT solutions.
