Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned ICT Project Manager to spearhead the planning and execution of our agency's transformation in Information and Communication Technology services.

This role demands a deep understanding of ICT project management principles, alongside exceptional leadership and technical skills. The ideal candidate will craft and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with our business objectives, oversee the transition of ICT services, and provide expert guidance to stakeholders on ICT matters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of ICT professionals, ensuring the security, reliability, and integrity of our ICT systems and data. They will also need to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, providing valuable insights on ICT matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a robust ICT strategy aligned with our business objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the transition of ICT services, ensuring seamless continuity, optimal value, and delivery of a fit-for-purpose solution.
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders on ICT matters.
  • Lead the daily operations of the ICT team, including staff management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and integrity of our ICT systems and data.

Requirements:

  • A seasoned ICT Project Manager with a proven track record in government ICT delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, negotiate contracts, and manage resources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership and technical skills, underpinned by a deep understanding of ICT project management principles.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-senior level ICT Project Manager with a strong track record in government ICT delivery. They will be equally adept at engaging with senior stakeholders and managing ICT staff, bringing both technical expertise and leadership capability to drive this transformation forward.
