Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Client Engagement Specialist to join our team in a key role, focusing on delivering excellence in product marketing, service, and communications related to Oaktree's strategies and products. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for servicing large institutional relationships, building strong working relationships with investor organizations, and gaining an understanding of their investment objectives.
About the Role
- This role involves partnering with Marketing representatives to manage client relationships, monitor engagement, and identify opportunities to increase client satisfaction.
- You will be responsible for responding to inquiries, determining proactive ways to increase client engagement, and serving as a point of escalation for client issues.
- As a Sales and Due Diligence Partner, you will work closely with Marketing to lead or support the Investment Due Diligence process, including facilitating RFPs, legal negotiations, and other diligence activities.
- You will also assist with presentations and proposals for cross-strategy, multi-strategy, or strategic partnership opportunities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-9 years of relevant experience managing client relationships and servicing clients.
- Good understanding of Australian investors and market, including the local regulatory climate.
- Solid foundation in investment finance concepts and ability to acquire thorough knowledge of the legal, accounting, compliance, and operational aspects of Oaktree's investment products.
- Ability to interact directly with clients and demonstrated ability to resolve potential client issues.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to prioritize and execute multiple workstreams while maintaining the highest quality standards.
