Job Overview

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for customer growth, prioritizing initiatives, and driving programs from idea to implementation.

  • Partner closely with Commercial Leadership and category management teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Lead high-impact projects, champion supplier investment negotiations, and embed cost-to-serve insights to inform range build.
  • Actively seek opportunities to unlock incremental sales and gross margin through store and customer-centric approaches.

As Senior Category Development Manager, you will lead and develop a team of category development analysts, drive innovation to enhance capabilities, and deliver outstanding results for customers, stores, and the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category strategies that drive customer engagement and sales growth.
  • Lead transformation initiatives, scope delivery, and influence stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring collaborative partnerships.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, retail category strategy, or business development.
  • A proven track record of value creation and stakeholder engagement in a retail setting.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
